Olympian Goddesses and Gods. Who Did You Meet Today?

Day to day, face-to-face most people don't include God in their response to a conversation question: "Who did you meet today?" God should do interviews. Or will He let the foolish rich ruin beautiful earth?

God and the Wonderful Everyday

Hand to hand, lip to lip, that's everyday human contact - flesh to flesh. No one meets God anytime during their day, only the mystics who say 'Everyone meets God because God is everything.' But no one sees His face.

We all assume He is there because our religious influencers tell us so; mostly because it says so in a book written thousands of years ago.

It is fair to say only the living are so certain what happens to the dead. The phenomenon of ghosts suggests something happens, and some form of community and management is in place.

The Near-Death Experience

People who suffer serious life-threatening trauma, in hospital emergency units enter a flat-line state for a period of time, insist they continued to be aware. Watched their own resuscitation from a surprising second-person perspective.

Such accounts are dismissed as hallucination or the brain's last transmission gift of a 'Sweet Finale' hallucination to ease the moment of passing into oblivion.

The problem is proving that is the case after the body life function is lost. People don't come back from that to wave to fellow sceptics and say: "Yes. I still am. I survived!" So we assume that conscious sense of self - our personality - also is lost.

We can either assume there is only the pitch-dark ignorance of nothingness' oblivion, or accept those people carried on in their awareness. If that is correct, then presumably they discovered the truth of what and who else is out there.

Out of Body Survival Expert Margo Williams

In the past people, shamans, willingly chose to do much the same; voluntarily partake in what they hoped to happen temporarily, a near-death experience. Become a ghost for a while.

Most consumed a toxic substance that caused trauma, during which that personality was free of the physical body to explore the supernatural. No one knows how many adventurers were lost to trial and error.

However, some rare individuals have the ability to separate without the use of dangerous toxins. It happens naturally. Margo Williams is among these.

From the age of 3 years Margo had occasionally experienced random out-of-body events. Brief moments of separation similar to those described by people who report near-death experiences or N.D.Es.

Unbidden and infrequent these were uncontrollable even inconvenient events for Margo; considered an anomaly, a side-effect of being psychic, this particular ‘gift’ seemed to have no useful purpose. Until it did.

God and His Problems of Now

'God is Everything' is essentially what many people of religious inclination currently believe. Not so long ago our ancestors recognised and accepted a nuanced need for a division of labour in the cosmos.

Our distant parents believed there was more than one god. The writers whose works survive from that period Hesiod and Homer described a different relationship between Gods and humans. Their goddesses and gods engaged with humanity; mostly because many of these deities presided over nature and its processes; which include the day-to-day lives of planet earth's inhabitants.

In their temples they engaged with the community as best they could. Until the connection was broken some 2000 years or so ago, when all forms of contact were outlawed.

2000 years later the human race faces dangerous challenges.

If these supernatural influencers do exist, they have a right to contribute to the current environmental debates. Be included, not excluded.

Mission Not Impossible

Margo Williams seemed equipped to undertake that kind of mission. Her extended range ability to see and hear, and out-of-body skills, offered an ideal opportunity to explore the landscapes available to the ghost body.

What was discovered and the relationships forged are the reasons why this material is included with ghosts - they share a connection.

We present the information that you may decide for yourself.

How Connection was Made

Why Olympian goddesses and gods, in preference to Egyptian, or Celtic, or Indian or Chinese? Because these were culturally closer to personal experiences and information is available in the form of myths and legend.

It is possible each pantheon is connected or even peopled by the same beings, identified by different names. It is also possible they aren’t connected.

First problem: how to speak to a God?

"We chose to keep things simple and personal," said Nick Hammond who questioned Margo. "A general welcome invitation, followed by a very brief talk, about our own lives and our world. Information that might engage interest or invite comment."
"Offerings an important inclusion. Wine or fruit. Sacrificed nothing but time. Waited in a quiet meditative state of mind. On conclusion of the encounter bowed and said 'Thank you.'"

This respectful and simple ceremony seemed to work.

What is a God and What was the Message?

"As baptised Christians we were raised to believe a story of unconditional love, and saw a long history of brutal religious warfare and the subjugation of women and men," continued Nick Hammond.

"Unconditional love is not the message from these contacts, but love is at the heart of it. Very much so, but not unconditional. It is a love based on respect for life, for our world and for each other."

A spirituality that requires us all to be responsible for our own actions.

Perhaps modern physics' quantum theories eventually will converge with the answer Margo was given - Gods are forms of super-consciousness.

This may be the best answer we ever will get.

Top Tips for Surviving Encounters with a Goddess or God

Some goddesses and gods are gentle, others not so; and some are dangerous. So be warned. After being ignored and outlawed for so long, some responses weren't soft and fluffy. The ocean Gods were especially unfriendly, perhaps understandably.

And the most valuable lesson we learned?

What happened to Margo can happen to you.

If a God tests you. Step up. Look Her in the eye. Be you.

Goddesses Gods and You

There are many goddesses and gods in the community. Black, white and every skin shade between. Speaking their name aloud evidently sends a signal; creates a link to wherever they are at any given moment.

If it works for you as it worked for Margo, and they respond, be respectful but be yourself. Honesty and thoughtfulness are appreciated.

Sacrifice nothing but your time. Most of them seemed approachable and appreciated being remembered.

The ancient temples that still can be found in some places, although mostly broken, are huge monumental structures; impressive sacred spaces, their scale designed to impress, to be worthy of divine visitation.

It is not the size and splendour of any sacred space, it is sincerity of the person seeking contact.

Anywhere can be a temple.
